I DESPERATELY NEED A SCANNER. I'm doing a lot of photography work as of lately, and I desperately need to scan some of my photos in. Which reminds me, I have a shit load of processing and developing to do.
I'll also be working with a fantastic model, during the winter break (come on december) so i should have a lot of photos after that too. Hopefully doing them nude, I really want to work with a nude male figure, but we'll just have to see. Still figuring out poses, for dramatic shadows on the body. Plenty of time for that though.

Finally, I'm going to be having my semester end critique on THIS MONDAY. *gasps and faints* I just desperately want this all to be over. *sighs* I don't know if I'm going to recieve full credit or not. Which worries the hell out of me. *pouts*

I've also come to the conclusion that all models, including/especially myself, who work for Girl with A Gun Studios will be referred to as "The Ace-High Dolls", referencing Old Western slang: Ace-High means "top notch, highly respected". The "Doll" part comes in from my preference of Burlesque Show girls, like Dita Von Teese. Rather than strippers, Burlesque girls have class and are much more sexually appealing.

The photos on retrokitten are the same as those that are on DA, but I had to start somewhere, and until I get back together with my other photographer, that's all that there's going to be.

What is this amazingness? How on earth did I get a free trial for subscription? At least for one week? That's outstanding! I hope I got it from doing something amazing. That would be great, I would be so proud of myself for getting it for that, but I'm still confused on why I would get one. I shouldn't complain though, maybe it's just one of those good old fashioned, here's a good surprise, just for you - for being who you are!

I'm still looking for models, for this great new project, I want to find people solely with facial piercings and tattoos. I want to be able to do some portraiture work expressing the passion that those models have for their artwork, maybe it be metal, or ink. I think body modification is gorgeous, a way to show the body off as a canvas, with it's amzing and unique skin textures. So if your body if modified and you would like to show that off, please contact me.

Once again, I am in the Boston area, and am looking for more people to talk to and get to know the city with. I've been looking for a sanitary piercing/tattoo parlor, so if you know of any, please, let me know! I'm hoping to get some metal put into my body, maybe a clitoris piercing or my labia. I'm staying away from my nipples because I think the skin texture that they have is just beautiful, untouched by a needle. Or at least, since I removed the rings and barbells.

Again. I must say this, as well as for the sake of a friend of mine who is going through the same issues. PLEASE, if you would like to use an image of mine, a poem, a piece of short fiction, please ASK ME FIRST. I really don't think that it's too much to ask. I don't want to have to begin water-marking my images like LitchyKoKo does, it pulls away from the art a little (at least, I think so). I've been through this problem once before, with some metal furniture designs that I had done, I don't want to go through this with my poetry and images. Thank you for citing me. I really don't mind if you use it, however I would like to know that you're using it, or at least CITE me as the artist. It is disturbing how many artists are being stolen from without any citation, please do it, it's common courtesy and just respectful.
